Positive: We loved it! The staff was very friendly and helpful! We got advice on where to go and the easiest way to get there. We enjoyed a great included breakfast, every morning! The hotel was super clean and expertly decorated. The heavy walnut doors lended charm and authenticity to the 400 year old building!
Negative: This is not a "didn't like' comment, just an awareness comment. We loved the old world charm, that is why we chose it. However, travelers expecting, new, modern rooms with high ceilings, showers with rain forest shower heads, 10 ft (3 meter) ceilings, refrigerators, modern amenities, etc., this is not that. If you are looking for peaceful charm, coziness, a great staff and clean accommodations, then no need to look any further.
